Kaye is anything but "Too Much" in her music video.

Charlene Kaye, the San Fermin vocalist goes solo under the name KAYE. In the music video “Too Much”, she sheds her blue exterior bit by bit, moving from dark to light and freeing herself in a beautifully choreographed dance. The visuals were directed by her sister Liann Kaye.

“I wrote this song to make sense of a period of great emotional confusion in my life,” she explains. “I had made many drastic changes at the same time regarding my career and my relationships and was left feeling totally unanchored like I just blew up my life for no reason—even though at my core I knew it was necessary for my own growth.”

We loved the use of dance, bold colors, and raw emotion to communicate her transformation. It reminds of us how you don’t necessarily need a green screen or a fully propped set to make a powerful video.
