Samsonite’s Proxis Luggage Gets the Red Carpet Treatment at the ‘Jet Gala’

Following the 2024 Met Gala, Samsonite has elevated its Proxis luggage collection with a glamorous twist. The brand’s ‘Jet Gala’ event celebrated one of fashion's biggest nights by reimagining its popular Proxis luggage through celebrity-inspired designs. Paying homage to the stunning ensembles worn by Zendaya, Cardi B, Doja Cat, and Lana Del Rey, Samsonite’s Proxis collection received custom red carpet-worthy looks.

The Proxis collection, known for its durability and striking design, debuted in 2020 and has quickly become a symbol of luxury and innovation in travel. Crafted from Samsonite’s exclusive Roxkin material, the Proxis luggage stands out with its shock-absorbent, recyclable, and ultra-lightweight properties. Roxkin, a combination of thin polypropylene sheets, ensures the Proxis is both stylish and resilient against breakage and damage.

The collection includes four sizes—carry-on, medium, large, and extra-large spinner—each featuring modern amenities such as a built-in USB port, secure sliding, and a TSA-friendly lock. Adding to the excitement, Samsonite recently announced a partnership with USA Gymnastics, becoming the official luggage sponsor for the 2024 Games in Paris.
