Apparatus Studio Act IV // Campaign

Apparatus is proud to present a wildly inventive collection of 60s-inspired furnishings: Apparatus Studio Act IV. This campaign features Debra Shaw, directed by Gabriel Hendifar, shot by Matthew Placek at Be Electric Studios 10.

ACT IV travels back in time to the 1960s, a decade in which man-made ingenuity and technology elicited delight. The collection draws on forward-looking cultural touchstones and scientific innovations that coalesce into an atmosphere of wonder. ACT Four negotiates the delicate balance between machine perfection and the human hand, revolving around a highly touched object and the nearly imperceptible hand that creates it.

“I have always been fascinated by the optimism of the 1960s,” Apparatus creative director Gabriel Hendifar explained at the brand’s Manhattan headquarters last February. “And that brought me back to this era of hippie idealism and Space Age ambition.” This time in history was the starting point for the company’s new collection of furnishings—the largest to date—which is finally ready for takeoff.
